Performance coaching
Let them meet the person you know you can be.
You know your subject. You have done the work. Yet when the stakes rise, you can find yourself overthinking, holding back or losing the thread. Personal performance coaching helps you prepare, communicate with presence and trust your own voice.
Let’s talk about what’s coming upWhat do you want to feel ready for?
An important interview. A presentation. A leadership role that asks more of you. A conversation you keep rehearsing in your head. We start with the situation that matters to you, then work on the story, mindset and practical skills that will help you show up with greater confidence.
“I lose my confidence in interviews.”
Prepare meaningful examples, practice responding to follow-up questions and learn to listen while you speak. Build confidence in your ability to have a real conversation rather than deliver a memorized script.
“I have something to say. I struggle to say it.”
Shape your message, decide what your audience needs and practice making your point. Work on pace, structure and presence so your ideas are easier to follow.
“I’m stepping into a bigger role.”
Explore how you want to lead and communicate. Rehearse the conversations ahead of you, recognize unhelpful habits and develop approaches you can use in your day-to-day work.
“I prepare endlessly, then overthink.”
Separate useful preparation from repetitive rehearsal. Develop a manageable preparation routine and ways to return your attention to the person, question or task in front of you.
Confidence grows when preparation feels like you.
We combine practical rehearsal with deeper reflection on the beliefs, experiences and patterns that shape how you show up. You can learn techniques and still sound like yourself. You can prepare carefully and remain responsive in the moment.
Reflective coaching creates room to quiet the noise, hear your own judgment and recognize what you have to contribute. We choose exercises together, with attention to what feels useful and comfortable for you.
Turn preparation into practice
- Develop stories and examples that communicate your experience and contribution.
- Structure a presentation, interview response or important conversation.
- Practice handling follow-up questions and moments when you need time to think.
- Receive specific feedback on your message, delivery and presence.
- Build a personal preparation routine you can return to in future situations.
Our focus is on the parts you can influence: how you prepare, how you communicate and how you respond. We agree a useful goal rather than promising a particular interview or career outcome.
How we work together
1. Define the moment
Tell me what is ahead, what feels difficult and how you would like to show up. We agree the focus, timing, preparation and fees before starting.
2. Understand what you bring
Find the experiences, strengths and ideas that belong in the conversation. Where it would help, we can discuss deeper story work through the Excavation™.
3. Rehearse and refine
Use practice conversations, mock interviews or presentation rehearsal to try different approaches. Feedback connects what you intended with what your audience receives.
4. Make it your own
Leave with practical next steps and a preparation approach you can use again. The aim is a stronger connection with your own voice and judgment.
Your questions, answered
Is this only for admissions interviews?
No. We can work on professional interviews, presentations, leadership communication and important workplace conversations. School-specific admissions interview services have their own scope and pricing.
Can we work on something happening soon?
Tell me the date and what you need to prepare. We will discuss availability and an achievable scope before you book.
Will you tell me what to say?
We develop the substance together and practice how you communicate it. Your experience and words remain yours. The goal is to help you respond thoughtfully, not perform someone else’s script.
What if the real question is where my career is going?
Career coaching is the better starting point when you want to explore your direction, compare options and build a roadmap. The two kinds of coaching can connect when that is useful.
Bring the moment that matters.
We can start with what is coming up and work out the support that would make a difference.
