Coaching from exploration to application

  • Course selection, academic fit, and a realistic application roadmap
  • The Excavation™ to uncover your interests, strengths, values, and meaningful experiences
  • Coaching on UCAS personal-statement responses and other required writing
  • Planning around references, deadlines, and any required admissions tests
  • Interview preparation where relevant, within an agreed scope
  • Offer comparison and preparation for your next chapter

Specialist subject tuition and admissions-test tutoring are agreed separately with an appropriate tutor; general application coaching does not include them.

Study choices and professional qualification are different decisions

We help you evaluate courses and prepare your applications. Before choosing a degree, check the qualification requirements in the jurisdiction where you may want to practice. England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and overseas jurisdictions have different professional routes. Confirm your circumstances directly with the relevant regulator.

What is the Excavation™, and why does it matter?

The Excavation is a guided, reflective coaching process that helps you understand the person behind the application. Together, we explore your values, strengths, interests, meaningful experiences, and the possibilities you want to explore. You do not need to have your whole life mapped out.

For young people, it creates room to discover your own direction. We look beyond grades and activity lists to what you enjoy, what matters to you, what you bring to a community, and how you want to grow. That gives us a thoughtful foundation for choosing subjects and universities and for telling stories that sound like you.

You leave with a written roadmap bringing together the themes, stories, strengths, and practical next steps we uncover. We use it in your applications and interviews, and you can return to it when considering internships, your first jobs, and future choices. Your interests can change; the roadmap is a starting point you can build on.

The Excavation creates the foundation; your coaching hours help you put it into practice. You remain the author of your applications. Comprehensive partnerships include the Excavation once, and the flexible Excavation + ten-hour package keeps the full process separate from your ten coaching hours.
