This is guided, reflective coaching to uncover your values, strengths, motivations, and meaningful experiences. For law applicants, we explore the questions behind your decision: what has shaped your perspective, why legal study interests you, and what you hope to contribute.
You leave with a written roadmap bringing together the themes, stories, and practical next steps we uncover. It becomes a foundation for choosing programs, developing statements, and communicating in your own voice. The Excavation creates the foundation; application coaching helps you put it into practice.

The full Excavation and roadmap are separate from your coaching hours. Sessions, agreed preparation, research, and written feedback count toward your hours. Hours are valid for six months. We agree the scope before starting; hourly support does not promise completion of a fixed number of applications.
Comprehensive JD support is quoted after we discuss your schools and deliverables. The Excavation is included once in a comprehensive partnership.

Is this for domestic or international applicants?
Both. US JD admissions support is available to domestic and international applicants, with the same price for the same work.
Will I need a law school interview?
It depends on the school. Interviews are not a universal JD application requirement. Some schools invite selected applicants; Harvard and Yale require an interview for admission. We plan around the current requirements of your schools.

Can you advise on character-and-fitness disclosures?
We can help organize questions and review writing within the agreed scope, but legal questions about disclosures or professional licensing should go to a qualified attorney or the relevant authority.
